Retirement has allowed me the time to undertake a long desired walk along one of the the ancient pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compestella in Northern Spain. I was lucky to be able to walk for five weeks from France along the Camino Norte.

Earlier this year I had the good fortune to travel around the world with my wife and I kept a blog as I went. This time I am writing retrospectively as the significance of my journey sinks in. As winter grips Cornwall where I live and it is a little more difficult to get out and walk the coast or the moor I hope to enjoy my reminiscing in the form of a blog.

We have just taken on a puppy Cockapoo and she is also going to blog about her experiences in Cornwall.

Hope you enjoy them. Feed back will be appreciated.
